Bart Leijnse

Bart concentrates on arbitration, corporate law and healthcare. He has much expertise in litigation practice. Bart gives advice and litigates in matters including shareholders’ interests, international trade contracts and joint venture agreements. Apart from acting as a lawyer representing a particular party, he also regularly acts as an arbitrator (national and international arbitration proceedings, preliminary relief proceedings) under various regulations (including those of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute, the ICC and the WIPO), also ad hoc, in cases which vary in terms of their subject-matter and size.

In the field of healthcare, Bart handles issues relating to disciplinary law and privacy and medical liability as well as various disputes arising within collaborative structures in hospitals, including partnership and section conflicts. He finished his training as a mediator in 2012. Bart is a member of the Dutch Health Law Association and the Dutch Arbitration Association. He graduated in Dutch Law and in Philosophy, from Leiden University. From 1992 up to 2001 he worked for NautaDutilh.
