Marsha van den Elshout

Marsha specializes in competition law within the Life Sciences & Healthcare practice.

Before joining Leijnse Artz in 2021, she worked at Baker McKenzie Amsterdam, where she specialized in competition law, trade sanctions, compliance and mergers & acquisitions. A large part of her practice involved assisting companies that were subject of investigations by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets ('ACM').

Marsha obtained her bachelor's degree in Dutch Law at the University of Tilburg, after which she completed a master's degree in International and European Public Law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During her studies she gained more in-depth knowledge in competition law and the economic aspects of European Union law. After her studies, she continued to be involved with the Erasmus University by giving lectures.

In addition to the Professional training for lawyers (Beroepsopleiding Advocaten), Marsha has completed the Law Firm School. She is also a member of the Competition Law Association (Vereniging voor Mededingingsrecht).
