Sandy works in the practice areas of advertising & unfair competition and life sciences & healthcare. Before joining Leijnse Artz in 2018 she had been working for the Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets since 2015, where she specialised in generic consumer law and e-privacy.
Sandy studied at Leiden University and VU Amsterdam. In 2016 she completed the Private Law and Internet, Intellectual Property & ICT specialisations of the Master in Law programme. She wrote her theses on the private-law enforcement of competition law and the level of protection offered by the EU legislation in relation to the protection of the right to privacy within the contex of behavioural advertising.
